Faculty appoints Katie Lam as new Chief of Staff
Faculty today (21 Feb 2022) announces the appointment of Katie Lam as Chief of Staff to CEO Marc Warner.
Lam joins from Portland Communications where she was Chief Policy Adviser, helping clients navigate the complex worlds of government and politics.
Prior to Portland, Katie was a Special Adviser to the Prime Minister. She initially started in the Business Team, before working on the 2019 General Election, and eventually becoming Deputy Chief of Staff.
She also spent 6 years at Goldman Sachs, leading various management, operations and project teams.
Her appointment comes as Faculty remains on course to add 400 staff within the next two years after securing £40m in a funding round led by APAX Digital in May 2021.
Katie is also a governor at Frank Barnes School for Deaf Children, a trustee of the Ivors Academy Trust, and an award-winning lyricist and scriptwriter of musical theatre.
