The Faculty Fellowship connects organisations with select PhD and MSc graduates transitioning from academia to data science careers.

Data science support is hard to come by. Your recruitment team has to compete with companies that are able to spend time and money on finding, interviewing and onboarding the best talent. And for companies still new to AI, knowing how to go about data science and machine learning recruitment is yet another challenge to contend with.

The Faculty Fellowship recruits, trains and mentors an exclusive cohort of data science, AI and machine learning specialists for you to choose from. We process over 150 applications per Fellowship and select candidates to interview based on their mathematical, coding and communication skills. Over a six week placement, the fellows run an impactful, bespoke data science project of your choosing, all backed by support and training from Faculty’s own team of experts.

Across eight weeks, the fellows work with your team to help deliver
a data science project of your choosing.

  • Week 1-2

    The intensive training includes workshops from Faculty’s expert team covering a range of machine learning techniques, distributed computing, data visualisation and essential business skills.

  • Week 3-8

    You’ll meet the graduates and pitch your projects. The Faculty team match you with a fellow and assign your new fellow with a commercial and technical mentor.

    Throughout your fellow’s time in the Fellowship, your project will be overseen by our in-house data science experts.

  • Week 8

    The fellows present the project they worked on at one of our most popular events of the year: Demo Day. After Demo Day, you will get the chance to hire a fellow.

We put the fellows through an intensive training programme that covers core data science skills, such as machine learning techniques, distributed computing and essential business skills.

"We spend long hours interviewing"

We perform rigorous recruitment processes for you. Recruiters spend 8 hours on average on each applicant to fill a position. We pool the best data scientists so it’ll only take you half the time - to find your next hire.

"We have to wait out 1-3 month notice periods"

Our fellows are ready to join your company as a permanent team member within 6 weeks - and that includes the time they spend on your bespoke data science project.
