The Faculty Fellowship connects organisations with select PhD and MSc graduates transitioning from academia to industry.
The Faculty Fellowship recruits, trains and mentors an exclusive cohort of data science, AI and machine learning specialists for you to choose from.
We process over 200 applications per Fellowship and select candidates to interview based on their mathematical, coding and communication skills.
Over a a short-term placement, the fellows run an impactful, bespoke AI project of your choosing, all backed by support and training from Faculty’s own team of experts.

Our priority is turning Europe’s top STEM academics into employable, effective team members ready to excel in the AI workforce. And we’ve already supplied over 250 host companies, from startups to some of the world’s biggest enterprises, with junior machine learning engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and software engineers.
Most of the Fellowship’s host companies go on to hire our fellows permanently.
The fellows work with your team to
help deliver an AI project of your choosing.
Week 1-2
The intensive training includes workshops from the Faculty’s expert team covering a range of machine learning techniques, distributed computing, data visualization, and essential business skills.
Week 3-9
Your selected fellow will collaborate with your team to deliver impact on a bespoke project of your choosing. Our in-house technical and commercial mentors will provide dedicated support and will oversee your project throughout.
Week 9
Your fellow will then work with you on any final deliverables and showcase their project outcomes. You’ll have the opportunity to hire them directly (if desired), finding the right fit for your team without the competition.
