How can government safely use large language models (LLMs) to support public services and public sector innovation?
Generative AI and large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT are at the forefront of the AI revolution, with applications spanning every sector.
These models are already summarising documents, drafting content and engaging directly with service users as chatbots. They bring huge opportunities for innovation and efficiency, but they also present significant risks such as factual inaccuracies, limited explainability and bias.
Join Faculty and a panel of government and industry experts to discuss how the benefits of LLMs can be unlocked safely for government and public services.
Guest speakers:
• Matt Clifford – Chair, Advanced Research and Invention Agency
• Samantha Beckett – Second Permanent Secretary, Office of National Statistics
