The first wave of the pandemic made it tremendously difficult to predict the demand on health and care services. In response, NHS England and NHS Improvement developed the COVID-19 Early Warning System — a first-of-its-kind toolkit that forecasts vital metrics. Laura Stevenson, Senior Manager of Faculty’s Health & Life Sciences team and Harison Carter, National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellow at NHS England will discuss – How the NHS is using AI to predict demand for services.
