We are delighted to announce that Halfspace, a leading applied AI company in Denmark which was acquired by Accenture in March 2025, is joining Faculty.

With ~100 elite AI practitioners, Halfspace has deep roots in the region - a market that leads the way in technical sophistication, data infrastructure and readiness to deploy AI in critical systems.

Like Faculty, Halfspace is wholly owned by Accenture, and has been at the forefront of applied AI for the last decade, delivering impact for some of the most important organisations in the region.

This represents the first step of Faculty’s global expansion.

Dr Marc Warner, CEO, Faculty and CTO, Accenture, said:

“In Halfspace, we found brilliant AI practitioners who operate similarly to us: deep thinkers who apply a scientific mindset and technical rigour to solve some of the world’s most difficult problems with AI.

This is an important milestone for Faculty as we enter the next phase of growth globally.

I’m delighted to welcome the Halfspace team to Faculty as we scale our applied AI capabilities to ambitious clients in the region."

Claus Bek Nielsen, Founding Partner and CEO, Halfspace, said:

“Faculty is a leader in applied AI and one of a few companies globally trusted by the leading AI labs such as OpenAI and Anthropic to help make their models safe.

As organisations move out of AI experimentation and into adoption, they need partners with deep expertise across applied AI, safety and transformation at scale.

Combining Halfspace’s deep expertise in AI with Accenture’s experience and scale has enabled us to serve clients above and beyond what we could achieve on our own. Now, by joining forces with Faculty, we can go even further and faster to bring even more value to clients in the region and globally.”

Nicole van Det, CEO Accenture Netherlands and Nordics, said:

"Halfspace has built a remarkable track record in one of Europe's most sophisticated AI markets.

Bringing Halfspace and Faculty together connects that expertise with global scale, supporting Faculty's next phase of growth, creating new opportunities for clients across the Netherlands and Nordics, and bringing these capabilities to clients globally.”
